Can anyone help me with anchoring something in a shadow box???

My girlfriend and I have made a shaow box for a present for the wedding. We can not find a way to secure the glasses that we have though. Can any one help?|||When glue is used on a heavy object, it eventually lets go, or it rips away the paper/fabric backing from the backdrop - either way, the object falls.

When making professional shadow-boxes, heavy items are secured to the backdrop with wire. Make a pinhole in the backdrop on either side of the item, hopefully beneath it so it shows less, then thread the wire through and around the object at the narrowest point.

Yes, it shows. But it stays put forever. You can try monofilament fishing wire if that%26#039;s an issue.|||Have you tried metal glue? You can order it from this scrapbook website called www.scrapjazz.com . You could also try a craft or automotive store.|||use %26quot;fun-tack%26quot; it%26#039;s a non-permanent clay-like adhesive. I worked at a craft store in high school, and we used it for displays.|||Hot melt glue has almost as many good uses as duct tape...

It will harden clear...lay the piece down so it doesn%26#039;t run, %26amp; then stand it up again when it cools.
