I%26#039;m buying a shadow box for either my mom or dad. Who should I give it to? I%26#039;m leaning toward my mom because she loves interior decorating. And do you know anywhere I can buy one in a mall (such as Pottery Barn) because I went on their website and they only have 1 for $60.00?|||Sounds like you already know the answer...Mom get%26#039;s it.|||Go to Hobby Lobby and get two - one for each of them.
Some are already made up, or you could add small items to an empty one.
If your Dad was in the military, Hobby Lobby has a case for displaying a folded US Flag instead giving him a shadow box.
If not, then you need a shadow box that contains items representing Dad%26#039;s interests - fishing, golfing, NASCAR, hunting, sports of all sorts, BBQ or vegging out.
Any Dad who wouldn%26#039;t appreciate any gift from their child deserves a lump of coal.|||Michaels, JoAnns %26amp; Walmart carry shadow boxes. %26amp; not so expensive.
You can do what I did, if you want though. I bought some unfinished ready to paint ones. I painted them myself %26amp; decorated them. I have mine in my room.
My sister wanted one. %26amp; so did her friend. They came out pretty nice.
I say give it to your mom. Its your best shot.
Good Luck|||Michael%26#039;s or any crafts store like Joann%26#039;s also would have shadow boxes.
I would give the shadow box to that person for whom I had stuff to put inside the shadow box...|||I am a dad and if my child gave me a shadowbox I would feel like a failed parent.|||By the sounds of things, definitely give it to your mom!|||give it to ME!|||ur mom :]
