HOW DO YOU make a Shadow box, for prize Bran Muffins?
Since my prize-winner weighed 3.5 kilos and rose to an alarming size, I had to subcontract the shadow-box to a carpenter friend...he came up with a 2%26#039;x 3%26#039; redwood box, which I then lined with blue mirrored panels picked out with gold fleur-de-lys [I live in a francophone area] and a frieze of gilded raisins. It has become the heart of our home, and the site for all holiday celebrations. We carry it in procession on saints%26#039; days from our home down to the cathedral. Many miracles have been attributed to our noble muffin...the most notable of which are the instant healing of the Marigeaux twins from their bilateral double hernias and the defeat of Counselor Rigaud in the last election.
