I have a few baby items I would like to display in a shadow box. I have never done anything like this before and wondered if anyone had any helpful tips/suggestions.
Items include: Baby gown, blanket, spoon, bib, bonnet booties, pacifier...I also have a Christening Gown (with bonnet and booties)...that I thought about putting in a different shadow box,...
I have no clue how to or what tools/supplies I might need to pin or attatch the items and keep them into position....would I also need to put a backing on the box...? I have seen shadow boxes at craft stores - but the backs are flat with no padding....?
Thanks in advance!|||You have to frame everything with acid free supplies. You should go to the craft store like Michaels and talk to the framing people. They are going to know best on how to preserve your items.
Plus, what you are talking about is going to be a very large shadow box.
