How can I make my punches harder?

Someone said try shadow boxing with small weights in your hands. Is this a good idea? I know I can punch harder coz I suck at those boxing games at the arcade but I can lift heavy boxes all day (30kg)|||Most of your body weight comes from your lower body. If sit down more on your knees then your punches will be more tight and crisp, which in turn makes your punches more harder. Also you need to hit the heavy bag, use hand grips, do a lot of wrist curls, and shadow box with 2lb weight gloves.|||build muscles in your arms. the heavier the harder|||They gave you good advice. Try those D weights - also double up as a handy knuckle duster..|||Imagine that your fist goes through your opponet%26#039;s face. Aim for the back of their head, not their face. If you%26#039;re punching them in the stomach- do the same- aim to put your fist through their stomach all the way to their back.|||Use more vodka.|||a bad-boy tip for yhe if you hit some one with a fist full ov loose coins u will reap the rewards ov devastation it will do that don%26#039;t mean u shud go round hitting people any way there is a technique to the boxing arcade game u hit it down overs|||You could start with cherry pick ups which is ofently used by boxing trainers or you could try it the old method way by hitting a 60lb punching bag at least 30min a day.|||think of the person as osama bin laden and then u%26#039;ll punch him really hard! woo hoo,|||You have got to aim beyond your target i.e. as if you are trying to punch through him|||Have someone look at your techniques, perhaps better use of hips, punching through a target (not hitting a target at full extention of the punch), better use of foot work, punching with hands more towards midline of body. Like I said, have someone really look at the whole body. Its not always strength, speed is a factor, as well.|||put more vodka in them
